Pico International 

Situated close to the Louvre Abu Dhabi, Manarat Al Saadiyat is a hub for arts and cultural activities in the city. With artist studios, temporary exhibitions, experimental theatre shows, it has become the go-to spot for the city’s elite to gather, while at the same time for tourists to explore the city through its exceptional art experiences. 

XXL collaborated with Pico International to animate the center with youthful exuberance. Its vogueful identity was enhanced with street art, making its build environment more approachable and engaging. A robust mix of colors, shapes and ideas brighten up different spots across the center, opening new dimensions.

BasketBall Court

In a combination of cool and warm colors, a mural opened up the basketball field for not just competitive but creative exchange. A player, submerged in an abstract composition is the hero of the field,  bringing smoothness to the game.

Skate Ramp 

The agiliness of skateboarding was transported into colors and textures with a mural that took over the ramp. A mix of child-like illustration and precise line work now allows diverse people - from young learners to professionals - to use the ramp without a hitch.

Juice Bar

At a spot for vitality, this artwork created a friendly environment, to invite people to gather and socialise as they sip on fresh juices.

A bold and linear illustrative style plays with caricatures of people from all over the world, infusing to the space a sense of joy where diversity and togetherness goes hand in hand.
